Freelance Insurance Risk Management (FIRM) was established in 2015 by Ian Cheney (ACII).
Our vision was to provide flexible, freelance consulting services to the insurance and risk management sector, supporting brokers, clients and insurers with specialist resourcing needs.

We have extensive experience providing bid management services for brokers.
Given the unpredictable timing of tenders and RfPs, it can sometimes be a challenge for in house teams to fully resource projects during busy periods.
We can provide that resource, helping you to win new business and defend your existing clients.
Insurance Project Management
Most professional organisations today run a tight ship with minimal excess capacity in their workforce. That means that while day to day business works efficiently, there in little room for non core activities that will ultimately enhance efficiency and improve company productivity.
Given our knowledge and experience within the insurance market, we are able to provide that additional resource, as and when required.
Risk & Insurance Management
We are experienced risk and insurance managers having worked in house with a variety of global clients.
Some organisations do not require a full time resource yet still need assistance ad hoc and/or around key crunch points in their renewal cycle.
